Felix Bistro, Sydney

Good news everyone! I went out for a celebratory meal. That means I had something to celebrate! I recommend you hit 'read more' button to find out what I celebrated:) For this celebratory meal, Alan and I found ourselves all dressed up at Felix Bistro in Ash Street, which you see above. Shepherd's pie with pumpkin and sweet potato

Brrr It is getting colder here in Sydney. I am now wearing my coat, gloves and scarf when I walk to the train station. I wear a thermal top and Explorer socks to bed...and wake up in the middle of the night, sweating. I am eating less salad and tuna (yay!) for lunch and am instead eating more soup. And pie!

Ciderella - finding the perfect cider (part 2)

More cider. Yes, I am still on the hunt for the perfect cider, in a quest that I like to call 'Ciderella'. These ciders were purchased from Dan Murphys where I was surprisingly not asked for ID. I look like I am 17 years old and I enjoy being asked for ID! It emphasises that I am ageing well and I like that. I look so young that I am often asked if I would like a child entry pass to the swimming pool. I hurt my knee at the pool the other week, blood was running down it and a concerned fellow swimmer said I needed to tell my parents about it....
